Visiting during CNY always lead to parents talking bout their children's education. And they'll be discussing where their children will go next after graduating from this placeee. It's quite........ annoying, not really annoying. But to hear them comparing and to see the faces of the other relatives change when they were told that i'm going to this this, that that place, it's just..... plain -___- Plus i'm not like the other cousins who all went to JC, this makes me feel like i'm like one standard lower. They might think i'm not that smart afterall (might. not really but i don't know) and look down on me..... Maybe not really look down. They probably just don't think that girl is not as good as they expected anymore..

That thought saddens me but somehow motivates me to want to do a good job in the course i'll be taking! It sucks to feel like the worst among the cousins but i dont care. I'm going to do even better than what you expect i will achieve!!! I'm going to get good grades for myself, for God and for you to see. I'm not that worthless or crap or what. I CAN DO WELL IN THE THINGS IM GOOD IN. and i will show u my interest drives me further and higher AND it can definitely lead me to somewhere good. Plus poly doesn't mean end of university path. Wait and see. I'll become professional in this aspect and head for a stable career ahead.

Fri (today): Visiting at Glenn's, Peiting's and my places..... Started early! Peiting's house is so full of instruments and can totally set up a studio and jam there. I love to play Black Ops :D Though i'm not very good in it and always get killed. But nonetheless, it's a pretty exciting game!!!

We went for lunch at coffeeshop near school market. After that bought soya pudding back 'home'. Glenn's home. And we watched this Hong Kong movie bout kidnapping. Glenn's parents kept feeding us with new year goodies. Paiseh don't feel like eating cos we were full. The pudding was pretty good! Like the peach flavour more than the chocolate! :) fell asleep on the chair in her room and after a while i went to watch TV~~~~~ She has cabletv :(((((( Yeah.. Shortly after in the evening, we headed to MY HOUSE!!!!!! They played with bubbles and they got so excited (me not very, i was like o_o) over multiple bubbles and hugehuge bubbles. I'm more excited, or rather, attracted by the sunset. The sky was absolutely pretty. Though the sun was blocked by the clouds, the view was very grand :) LIKE MY PHOTO UP THERE? Hehehehe wonderful world by our wonderful creator~ :D

Dinner with them at t1 and i brought them to my secret hiding place~~~~ Ate Mee Sua and the pan fried buns. OM NOM NOM WE THE GLUTTONS. i love that place. i sang "the more we get together" and they kinda freaked out. the echo inside makes it really creepy >< but i like the feeling and my voice. Really like ghost story that kind.... Eee thinking of it creeps me out and gives me goosebumps.

Got home safe and sound! :D

Thank God for today! Tiring but a happy day. Tmr will be AWESOME... i hope?

Wish i'm her. Looks like a really peaceful place, a really cozy room to read a book. Envious much.......

Singapore is too developed and i live by the main road. It's so noisy. The traffic made most of the noise.. Sometimes the bird's chirps got drowned by the buses passing by. :(

We are so occupied by work, and got muffled by these 'busy' sounds, that we have no time for real leisure.... Leisure here means those that really slows down your heartbeat, like a walk at the park and sitting at the beach watching the sunset. Not sitting in front of the television and watching your favourite drama series or surfing the Net.

Well actually we don't have time for relaxation activities at all. How sad, isn't it?

That's life in Singapore.

Wonder if it's too much to wish for things right now for my birthday... (too early thou but ya)

cos whenever my bday comes i've never ask for anything from my parents and have never spend big money on something. the last thing i rmb asking my parents for a bday present was that Disney tracks CD from my dad and if i'm not wrong, i was primary 4 or 5........

It's been so long i ever wanted something.. but it feels like too sudden and would they agree to it?

I was thinking about what i should get. It has to be useful for my studies and it must be also useful for other things.. well it just gotta be worth the money!!

Right now, i'm thinking of getting a good small handy camera. DSLR or DSR whatever you call it, i haven't quite go into research. I want something professional, unlike those fanciful colourful cameras.. Love to go into photography. Going to places and taking photos. Really envy friends who just wander around little Singapore to snap picture moments.

I'm sure if i enter VSC, i would need a camera. Macbook. And so many other materials. But what if i don't? would the camera be still of use?

Anyway the problem now is WOULD THEY EVEN SAY OK? if not, i need to use my own money. which means a lot of money.. would i, this stingy and thrifty person, bear to?

We'll see then. >:/

Day 2 of Chinese New Year :D

Love my little niece to bits and she's super super lovely and adorable. Teasing her is so fun and she's so good in posing!!! POSER. Future model manz :D

Ate a lot of food, mostly goodies. If don't eat now, then when right HAHA. Shall go apply pimple cream later, go running next week and start watching my diet!!

I like gatherings with people though i'm not one who talks alot. Just love sitting at a corner, watching the telly and sometimes reading a book on the armchair and drink green tea. And i do like trying new goodies on the table too ^^

It's been a tiring day. Splitting headache right now. It comes and goes... But i'm glad my cramps are gone and i'm feeling so much better!!!!!

Going Daena's house tmr and we're making baked pasta! hahaha every time go her house is all bout food... Havent been going out w churchies...... I wanna go out w them but many of them are studying. maybe i should ask them out after service on Sun!

Let's rewind.

Morning, my family and i went to church for worship service. It's great to see everyone in new clothes and in something different. :) And the procedure was different.. The first 2 songs were Chinese New Year songs and it felt weird singing when we usually sing church songs. But anyway i felt the sermon was a little too long and eventually i turned off and dozed off :/ After that everyone went around shaking each others' hands and saying "happy chinese new year!" and i really hope i could dig a hole right in front of me and hide. I dont know why and i know it's funny but i hate facing people and saying all these things that i feel awkward saying. Right after the service, met my churchies for a short while (sobs) and left for gran's house.

Went visiting, came back to gran's house. Spent the whole day there waiting for relatives to come over, received many many ang pows, took photos with my couzie's iPad, played games on the iPad and ate bee hoon, goodies and drank alot of sweet drinks. (FATS UGHHH) but anyway the noon on every 1st day of CNY is always spend like this. EVERY YEAR ^^ I like it pretty well as it's not just bout the fat stack of ang pows i'll get $.$ but of course the crowd in the typical 5 room flat and the noise they make. Makes the apartment more lively and i feel happier! :) Uploaded photos on facebook and i must say luckily didnt bring my camera cos it would be not of use. Cos the iPad came effectively to use and it's so convenient!! :D

Evening came soon and after having steamboat with CHEESE SAUSAGES (!!), parents and i went home. Bro went visiting with grace~ We waited for my aunt to come. I think my parents and my aunt and uncle chatted for more than an hour. I sat there beside them, listening and nodding my head. It's like a total eye-opener hearing the stories, and i felt like i gained so much information bout their lives and the society we're living in currently. I gained a more knowledge on the wickedness of our society now, Singapore society. And how hard my family have ALWAYS been working hard to give us education, piano lessons, and such............ Then that was the time i realised that if i don't work as hard as them, or doubly, in my studies right now, i would definitely SUFFER BADLY when the time comes. Cos everything in Singapore is stressful, expensive..... Plus the fact that the young workers are 'bullying' the old and experienced workers and treating them like useless people makes me feel really bad for them. If i were them, respect is first thing. I dont understand why. Probably it's society's doing, changing people slowly.........

And lastly my aunt and her husband, my uncle, said something that i really thank God inside so much. The feeling was overwhelming. My uncle had a sickness and it was so terrible and was unknown to the doctors. He had gone through so much pain through the treatments. So... Because of the visit my parents made to their house last time (they were the only couple who went down, none of my dad's siblings did) and plus the prayers we had been making for their family, they thanked us from their bottom of their hearts and said they really appreciated us. I felt sooooo happy inside. That we became a testimony to people. That people saw God through us...... It's such a great feeling and God touched my heart. I almost teared. :')

How great it is to be an influence, an impact in my relatives' lives, even it's just a tiny bit of effort we made. God has shown me so many things and taught me lessons which i need to know and which i need to be applying in my life in the future. Thank You for every single moment today.

One thing big that happened today and that i wanna thank God for.....

After church this morning, my family and i went home by the van. We reached our place and the van wanted to go forward but there's this white car in front drove out from the carpark suddenly. It was soo sudden that Dad got a shock and honked at him. And cos of that he also stepped onto the brakes so hard that Bro and i who were sitting at the back of the van flew forward. It was a really really close shave. We were sitting sideways and it was so dangerous that it could almost kill us. Bro was alright but i got some minor scratches.

Thank God i didnt bang into my head on the metal wire "fence" thing. I almost did. It was such a scary experience. The speed i was flying forward and the moment i see myself almost hitting the metal thingy, and the moment i knew i didnt and i was perfectly not injured... Thank God a million!

First, this is going to be a quite "emo" post. go ahead if u wanna read. i'm just feeling down on this cny eve and need a place to record down my feelings.

So as usual, my family and all of those from my mother's side went to gran's hse for reunion dinner. and when i was having dinner, an aunt talked to me.. all bout polytechnic, what to expect, what i should know and stuff. i never expect she would link things from one end to another, talk non-stop, compare my bro and i... and i know she meant well, but when she asked if there is a particular university i wanna go after my 3 year course in poly and which one, i totally couldn't answer. i didnt expect that question coming my way and didn't know what to say. i even misheard something she said like "poly U" and i was like "poly U?" and she thought i think there is "poly U"... ok put that aside, the conversation with my aunt started off totally fine. but as it went deeper i felt a really hopeless sense of pressure and i was so scared that she would ask me things more than i can answer. It's probably me who can't take the stress and definitely me who is not open-minded enough and not knowledgable enough, but why throw me questions so straight into my face without giving me a second to think?

In the bathroom i gave so much thoughts about the conversation my aunt and i had. I remember i almost teared during the talking. Thinking, i felt really useless not being able to handle things like this well. I felt "smashed" that i am so easily defeated by straightforward and harsh (not that harsh la) words which probably sound very managable to others. I felt that i am too weak.

And I thought... There's only 2 ways. Either i avoid them or build myself up to tackle these situations. Avoiding seems pretty easy and it's the fastest way of course. Yet it's cowardly and sad. But if i want to prepare myself, it means more exposure to such situations. And i really need a lot of courage. And it also means pushing myself off the edge on my own and go ahead alone. Feel like the more "avoiding" kind......... But i'm already 17 and am going to face a different kind of school life which is going to bring me to all kinds of people and places. I can't back down now right?

Courage, strength and perseverance come from God. But if i'm not going to step out of my comfort circle, how can He help?

Last day of work today (Got my pay ^^) but the toughest of all cos the place we went was a school and there was no lift and so huilin and i had to carry the boxes up from 1st to 2nd level.

I can really say my muscles grew after working for huilin. hmm i dont know if i should feel happy or what. I want my arms to look toned but it's probably not that toned yet. But they definitely look good now!

And good thing i went to a primary school to do sales today! the teachers are all so friendly and helpful and caring~ One of them chatted with me and totally felt like i was chatting with a friend! She's so lovely (and pretty too, she looks very motherlyyy) and really made my day!! :D

Glad that work is over. i was thinking if i should work next month.. Maybe not. thinking of working, i can't even "tahan" these 2 weeks, let alone saying 2 months of work! I guess it's time to rest and be prepared for a hectic poly life.

After work dad, bro n i went to the market near school. Awesome duck rice! but i couldn't finish the rice or the duck meat so dad became my "rubbish bin" HAHAHA. At home i ate too much kueh bulu so i wasn't that hungry......

Got my fringe cut and bro says i looks like china doll -.- he says i should try letting my fringe grow and comb it to the side and clip it up or clip it over my head. But i think i look horrible with my exposed forehead. I'm more used to having my fringe than pinning it aside. Aiya shall let it grow and see how! Thanks dad for paying for the cut! :D

Now i'm home i'm so happy and relieved i can sleep late and wake up late tmr! this week hadn't been easy. Time for celebration! Chinese New Year 'round the corner. Expecting the thing to comeeeeeeeeeee NOOOOOOO but i'll just have to go with it cos i totally have no choice and only can say it's a natural thing for women so SIGH i hope it doesn't make my mood plunge so deep. I dont wanna affect people and their feelings and the festive atmosphere with my moodiness..

Brought Totoro everywhere i went and today we went to NNI (National Neuroscience Institute) for this little bazaar. Sales was quite alright today, although it wasn't as good as the other sales i did last week. I enjoyed the little crowd and the peace there. I had time to read my book since there weren't much things to do. :D

Then home i went after boss sent me the nearest MRT and i got myself bubble tea at Each A Cup in T1. Kinda regret having 70% sugar level so damn sweet ><

Just can't wait for CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!!! ang baos ang baos! and of course STEAMBOAT~

Making a little story of my own. One which i really wish i am really in it.

The storyline goes like this... IMAGINATION RUNNING WILD AND FREE :D

One fall, you go away alone from the city to a countryside in Germany or any European country, rent this room facing the woods in this big wooden house by the lake. You came here with a simple packed suitcase in a mini Beetle. Then when you arrived, the house owner says she's going away with her family for a family visit or holiday somewhere at the other end of the country and is leaving the house under your care for two weeks.

AHHH best part comes!

Now you visit every room and every corner of the house, including the yard, the garden and the room under the roof (i forgot the name), played with the cats which slept most of the time. And you felt that you have to do something or drink or eat something........ Climbing down the stairs, you find the kitchen and there in one of its white coated drawers, you took "Earl Grey Tea" teabag, put it in a round, exquisitely-made cup and boiled some water. As the water boils you walked around the living room scanning through the lovely photographs placed near the door. Pictures of happy family outings, unexpected but silly photos and adorable baby photos.. How wonderful life is, you said to yourself.. After making the tea, you went to your room, looked out and sipped some tea. Deciding to paint the scenery, you became the artist and illustrated the beautiful setting which turns slowly into a pinkish-orange drawing..... You took your time to finish the painting and once you're down, you continue drinking the tea as you watch the sun sets behind the pine trees and the mountains.

The dusk finally came and the sky turns into a wonderous space, as you glanced out of the window while you're lying on your bed. Stars shining like shy diamonds in the vast space. Slowly you hum your favourite song and drift slowly to sleep......... And another great morning awaits.

*Birds chirping a tune, crickets making the sound and the smell of wood and rain*

After washing up, you made another cup of tea and sat on the grass in the garden, enjoying the warmth of morning sun..... You took a walk near the lake and.....

The story continues...

This is just a tiny part of my imagination.

But.. Imagine all those things that you would love to do alone if you were given a situation like this! Personally i love being alone and having the whole house to myself, enjoying time with myself. I wouldn't mind if i'm ALL alone at such a place :)

Yesh it's impossible that such things happen but if you are given the ability to imagine, to dream, to fantasize, why not! :)

These scenarios are like perfect and though i know they won't happen, but they are the sweetest things you would ever think of. Just thinking of it makes me feel like i'm really in it and i enjoy that!!

I'm glad i made this post. Not one of those daily happenings and definitely something different.

I can only say it's another day of work and I can't wait for the week to be over!

The place i went was at Kaki Bukit, which is nearer to Tampines. So i got to sleep more cos Huilin came to fetch me at a later time! :] And i ended work earlier too~

Oh, i'm also glad that my problems with change and money is not that bad now! I no longer need a calculator cos i guess my mind is used to the process and i'm not that nervous like before anymore :)

Realized too that....... In jobs like this, you get to meet the nicest and the worst customers. Polar opposites and it's not a good feeling, never, i must say. But in the end, you'll be happy cos the nice people made you feel respected and those unfriendly customers are just nothing~ :P

I would love to stay in the office and paste stickers but since huilin wants me to be promoter, i guess i'll have to do so! Helping out as well as earning some money is a good thing right :D

Ooo right, after piano i felt better. After dinner i felt awesome! Now i'm on tumblr and i don't know what time i'll stop. Shall make some trips to the refrigerator before tumblin' again~ HAHA

Really hope i can get into TP's visual comm and i will really work hard for everything. And i'm sure with God's strength, i can make it possible. Aiming to go uni after the 3 years. NOTHING IS STOPPING ME. And i really hope this motivation and passion for design keeps me going on even though i know "design students don't need to sleep one". Well and hopefully i dont burn my pocket so much due to the amount of things i need for my course and materials... All will be good! :D

Holidays for another 2 months! Chinese New Year is coming and so will my idiot thing D:

And i don't like it when people say they are just nothing but eye candies. YESH they are attractives. BUT they have good voices. Maybe not the best voices or those that will blow the audience and judges off. But they have their own unique voices and personalities. And altogether they made a perfect band.

Before u judge, know them first!!!!!!! :[ Or better, don't judge, just listen to their music. I like them not just because of their looks, but their voices and songs too. AIYA JUST DONT BE SO MEAN LA CAN.

TOTORO GOES TO WORK

3rd day of work @ NUH. Everything today went well! I didnt make mistakes with the change and money and stuff, and business was pretty good. Boss says it was better than ystd's sales! WHOOOOOO ^^ Then after following her for some delivery errands, she sent me back to Tampines!

Met D, PT and G. at tamp inter and we headed to D's house for steamboat. We played with Gracie and saw Daena bathed her! :))))) She's so guai and so so so cute!!! Like so furry and warm and adorable~ Before dinner I grabbed some biscuits to eat and Gracie followed me wherever i go. She really loves fooooood. :D

The steamboat was just SHIOKNESS. We had chicken soup at first and after a while we changed it to miso soup. The miso paste was really yummy and i just licked it off my finger!

I'm so full from the dinner and after that we even snacked and drank chinese tea! it was just so awesome to be having such a big appetite though my belly expanded alot! Thankfully Daena lent me PE shorts to wear hehehe stretchable one! :D Time passed really fast when we were having good times. After all the eating, it was past 11pm and PT's parents sent me, peiting and glenn home! still full and haven't digested yet! :(

Shall sleep later cos i don't want to accumulate fats HAHA

And i doubt i can have breakfast/brunch tmr.

All right, time to head to bed. I'm gonna read my Lovely Bones and enjoy time with myself. Oh i haven't been doing QT uh... should read my daily bread later! And dad's buzzing off again, wanting me to sleep early -__-

this morning i headed for work and huilin sent me to joo koon. this factory+company place called Molex. unloaded the goods and went into their canteen (luckily it's air-conditioned). the 7 hours hadn't been easy. working as a promoter is definitely not my type of job but i treasure every learning points and the working experience i got!

i was really really bad with money. kept giving the wrong change and i even need a calculator. AND I CAN EVEN MAKE MISTAKES EVEN W THE HELP OF CALCULATOR what is wrong w me.

then there were a few times i couldn't answer the customers' questions regarding some items. (we sell dried fruits and nuts btw) and i was really lost. so i gave really unsure answers. i bet my eyes told it all. no confidence.

after a few hours, got a little used to the process but money is still a problem ahhhh.

felt so bad when i have to coins to change and this guy just left without buying that packet he wants. :/

But really glad that i met some nice ppl who chats w me. really friendly and easy to talk to! one lady even asked bout my results and what i wanna do for this yr. :)

met unfriendly or 'long face' ppl but i guess i did a good job in maintaining my smile [: no matter how eeeee they are i still gotta respect my customers! that's another learning pt too.

After that went back tampines and met daena, g. and pt for dinner. we had subway. :D

Somehow glad that i didnt get 15 and below. Cos i don't need to worry bout whether to go JC or Poly. Somehow God is telling me the path i should go. I needa pray really hard for my 12 choices....... It's tmr i'm submitting the JAE thingy.

Work! 1st day and i spent 8 anna half hours pasting stickers onto the packets of dry fruits/nuts.

kinda enjoyed the job (though it's tiring!!!) cos i guess i had music to listen! :)

And thankfully there's aircon! brought my maroon jacket. Just niceeeee.

There was a few times i got really tired of doing the labour job that i really wanna go home as soon as possible.

Sooo tmr is gonna be my sales day. First time as promoter selling. Mom told me to be really careful of the money and stuff..... yeah i hope everything will run smooth!

Can't go to jc open houses. not interested but i just wanna go look around and get goodies (nuaahahaha), sadly i got work! can't go with daena, glenn and peiting! :(

Well had dinner with my parents. Really enjoy the time. :)

And we walked home~ mom and dad talked while talking and i sang to myself as i followed them behind! hahaha i feel like i'm still a child, still my parent's little girl~

Thank God for the results i got! Though quite disappointed with some subjects, but i'm glad overall i did my best and was well~ So surprised my Amath got a B4. learnt that it is important to ask good questions and always go early! shorter queues for things like goodie bag collection, booths and such.

Overall i think TP feels more lively. SP feels 'at home' but TP has got the atmosphere. The students from different schools are cheering and it's like orientation~

I rmb that night when wenhui, van and linghui went up to share their thanksgiving speech for the whole year on Bethany Night,

WH said that she's grateful for being able to still stand there and be alive, breathing......

and the next day one of my churchies' mom passed away.

How timely and how hard wh's words hit me.

Life is really precious. How easily it can just be taken away in a second...

The morning we heard the news, we were taken aback.

It woke me up and made me rmb WH's sharing..

And i felt so fortunate and thankful for still being alive and to have reached 2012.

And i came to realise every moment our loved ones are still with us is treasure.

And i start to fear of death and fear that my life or those of my loved ones will be taken any instance.

But i've learnt that we should not fear death. It's another door towards Heaven, so why fear? :)

The weekend had been pretty busy......

Christmas Eve

Caroling ystd was tiring. We went to the CGH and 3 houses. The last house was our final meeting place and the place was sooo squeezy coz it was filled with like over 60 people! Ended the day with Sherlock Holmes movie. By the time i was home, it's past mn. Oh, it was a good movie :) He's so johnny-depp. ^^

I think that caroling at the hospital wards is more meaningful than caroling at people's houses.

And today's xmas! :)

Went to church as usual for christmas service. Had insufficient sleep last night, and so tired that i slept during the sermon. Guilty but i can't seem to keep myself awake. Then Confirmation for the 4 of us and bro took photos for me (blur blur ones....). Service ended and got many presents from churchies!! THANKS GUYS LOVE YOU! Lunch with churchies at Changi city point (ang mohs everywhereee) and a little shopping.

I thank God for the oh-so-shiok weather this weekend. It rained but after that it's cooling and so perfect :) thank God my family was participative in caroling this year! and i thank God the caroling ystd was summed up well and may Him be glorified!

xmas caroling today~

so we flew to Melbourne...

and first thing. the weather isn't summer-like at all! yes it is hot, the sun is blazing madly but the wind is cold and chilly. It was the perfect weather and putting on a jacket over is just nice. but when we went to the Penguin Parade, it's literally freezing cold for all. and i had another winter coat over my 2 other layers and still dead cold!!! Worse is the penguins are not on time >:( they came back super late and it's so dark that i can't see them. Many left coz waited too long or it's freezing. But apparently, some saw the penguins. I was like "whereeee!?" and trying to spot them in the dark. but i see none at the shore! :( but i did see some baby penguins in the little shelters on land..

Oh i wanna blog according to days. okay shall do that.

Day 1

Flight to Melbourne from Singapore! Night Flight.. One day gone........

Day 2

Landed on Melbourne at around 7am and we went off to the tourist's attractions straightahead. The St Paul's Cathedral was beautiful. It's a Catholic church and there were soooo many flowers there! :D Found an undone drawing of the church among the flowers. it's pen-drawn and really detailed. but sadly the person didnt finish drawing! :(((( SAD

Then more amazing flowers at Fitzroy Gardens. I think i fell in love with those flowers and sadly plucking them is wrong -___- HAHA i love them! Took many photos lovelyyyy.

Went to Flinders Street Station next and on the way saw the cool graffiti on some wall. there was a graduation day at a university near the station so it was kind of crowded! Surprised that there were many Asians gradudates there. Remember the university's name was ..... of the Moving Image. DESIGN STUFF? I CAN GO THERE PROBABLY. Hahaha. Told mom and she was like you thought of going there study ah? ^_^ oh just a thought. but yeah~

Lunch was chinese food. nothing much hehe.

MARU Koala & Animal Park was next and there were of course koala bears and kangaroos. Love the little wallabies and one of them didnt run away like the others. it was drinking water so i went closer to pat it and take photos with it! AWWW CUTENESS!! :D The peacock family was totally cute too. They just roam around freely. the chicks always follow mama peacock!

Amaze 'N' Things was similar to those illusions stuff at Science Centre here and it's pretty fun! :)

Then we had dinner at this chinese restaurant near Philip Island before heading there for the Penguin Parade. Yeah so dark and already cold like mad that i didnt bother taking photos. And we left seeing no penguins. :( Wasted.

Day 3

The Waves was the hotel-resort we stayed and it has a perfect seaview! thou my room didnt face the shore (did it? i didnt open the curtains to see), but in the morning after breakfast in the room, grandma and i went to the beach with my ah gong and granduncle and camera came handy again~ :) Really love the morning sun, the beach, the trees and the real smooth sand. Something we'll never see in Singapore.

Panny's world chocolate factory. smells GOOOOOOOOD. but didnt get anything there. only went on the tour, made our own choco with the machine but i didnt eat mine. Soooo chocolatey, i dont really like.

Then went to this Garden Maze place. once again saw many pretty flowers and the scenery there was splendid... the trees, lake, the smell of nature was awesome. The fact that it was totally nature, no buildings around, makes it really comfortable. Went deeper into the forest to take photos (nobody did but me... hahaha) and found this small lake. beautiful. sweet! :D

Didnt go to the Rose Maze nor the Garden Maze. Time was tight :( ohoh, the daisies were absolutely cute and pretty ^^

Next was the strawberry farm. Picked our own strawberries there. Got this box and it was full! YAY. tried their home-made strawberry ice cream. I dontknow how to describe the taste. It's SO SUPER STRAWBERRIEEEE. Best strawberry ice cream ever eaten!

i think that was end of Day 3.

Day 4 (long tiring day!)

Wine tasting at this wine making place hahahaha. i dontknow what to call it.. Oh Winery. Drank just a sip of one of the wine. Sweet wine, not bad. Hehehehe. And we headed to the Great Ocean Road!

Saw the Angel Sea, the awesome Great Ocean Road, the 12 Apostles (huge stone monoliths), the London Bridge. ONE WORD: SPECTACULAR. Nature's art of erosion never fail to impress (quoted from the iterinary hehe yup). Australia's so beautiful. Envious. I wish Singapore has this sights. :(

And thankful that there were Ethan and Josh. If not i'll die of boredom. These boys kept me company. love playing with them ^^

Back to hotel. Dinner at chinese restaurant. Big portion -__- and all of us couldn't finish...... back and had a great sleep. :)

Day 5

It was supposedly a free day. But we went ahead with the optional tour.

Victoria Market, Puffing Billy steam train ride, the Cuckoo Restaurant, feeding birds, Chadstone Shopping Mall. That was the tour. Victoria market was huge and it was kinda rush coz we had only an hour to shop. It was like an air-conditioned pasar malam but 5 times bigger??? Srsly big. I didnt have chance to shop the whole place. So it may be 10 times bigger....

The puffing billy train ride was shiok! Sat at the window ledge of the train and had our legs tangling outside. Cool~~~

Lunch was at the Cuckoo Restaurant and there was this buffet serving a lot of meat! and others as well. But it was so ang-moh's food. Like really suit their big appetite. Didnt eat a lot. There was performance and they were amazing!!! :) Saw the largest Cuckoo clock there.

went to feed the birds. Parrots actually. FAT LA THEY. Held this big metal plate with sunflower seeds and other food..

They. are. really. HIONG. So fierce for some. And their claws clinged onto my arms so tightly that they left scratches! WTH D:!!! and suddenly this huge truck drove psat and all of them flew away. Scared me.

Shopped 2 hours at chadstone. Bought not alot of things. Too big the place, too little time.

End of tour.

Went back to the hotel. Free time so we took the city tram around and went to this chinese restaurant for dinner! (AGAIN!!) Sighs the elderly only like chinese food and have no choice to choose others. :( but well, their chinese food was good. AND HUGE PORTION. finished everything this time coz we ordered less plates. Blessed tummy. :)

Day 6

It was slacking time at the hotel before leaving for the airport. Went to their supermarket nearby. Bought food! :) Used the internet at the hotel but it lagged big time -__- so i gave up.......

Flew back to Singapore. Late already but uploaded my photos on FB and bodyslammed my bed and woke up late and the weather's nice with rain but not as great as the weather in Melbourne..

Went shopping hahahaha.

Genting would be next. Lazy to blog alrdy la. Sorryyyyy :(

Thank God it's summer over there, there's not much clothes to pack.

Closing gap between God and His family

Closing Gap camp was fun thou i'm always seen alone, emo-ing at a corner~

If my brother wasn't there i won't go. But anyway i love the visit to the children carecorner ystd! The kids are soooo cute! but loud ahaha. Made some new friends but sadly we had to bid goodbye after a few hours. I wasn't performing, singing or acting. Only as a little backstage helper! :) but i'm contented and happy w that. The other 6 interns students Gideon pastor brought are very participative and i wow at them. I'm just like the opposite. And just dont fit well~~ I wish jiehui or some other closer churchies were there and i won't be so bored.

Went for 2 days of the camp. Today is their 3rd day and they're having Amazing Race!! :( i'm so not going. rather sad. I miss them and camp but somehow i dont wish to be there. I guess i'm too self-conscious. Sometimes i wish i could be a little louder and daring, and be the kind that isn't conscious of what others think or say bout myself. Coz i would be affected by those, i shut myself down. UGH.. And it sucks when nobody talks to u when u're terribly lonely, when u're the kind that needs someone to take initiative to come forward and chat with u... and u just sit there, thinking bout why they don't and is there something wrong w me~

Negative thoughts always float into my mind. :/ i dont like that part of me, but i just can't step out :(

Coming back, i think Bro and the committee did a great job in organizing this camp! the games were fun and interesting. Never play some of the games before. I hope the last 2 days of Closing Gap would end off well. God will take care and i hope Bro has left the rest to Him and hope he dont worry so much and just have fun! :)

Went to 313@Somerset's HMV with wenhui and linghui and bought it finally~

It was really kinda overpriced. But it's worth it! I can listen to the songs freely with my player and also keep it as memory :) At least when i'm old i know i once was a directioner.

Never really went crazy over idols and bought every single album of the band. But guess this is the first time. When i was crazy over kpop, i wasn't that obsessed that i would purchase every album of the band. AHAHAH this time. And i love their songsssss!!! :D

Ran, or rather jogged, last night at the central park for 3 rounds. Dying.

it was a really REAL run after so long. last week (or is it a few days ago..) when i ran with my mum i gave up soon after a short while.. didn't count! ystd bro paced me and keep pushing me. LOL it's irritating but i managed to finish 3 rounds in 20 min. which i guess is not bad :O

Wanted to give up, but bro motivated me constantly.. Using like different things lol! like "u dont want fat cheeks right? or fat thighs? or big butts right?!?!" hahaha i replied "my butt will always be big -.-" "okay then FIRM big butt" AHHAHA

then next thing that really pushed me forward a little "Think of your One Direction, your thick eyebrow guys, the shuai ge!!" HAHA OK THX he said it rather loudly. bet the residents heard it....... hahahah alamak.

Running is ahhhhh probably the most tiring exercise. It's painful and really, if no perseverance, giving up can be very easy. But after running i felt good. like my legs are more toned and i felt fitter! (Y) ^^

Not gonna run regularly, probably occasionally (like once every fortnight hahaha) thou i know running regularly is good. But you know, i'm a weakling and just can't stand it! Swimming's a better choice for me hehehe. Plus more eleganceeee and less tiring~~ Running makes me look like the above. LOL~~~ K bye.

Have just gone shopping with mum and bro in town!

Queued for the free ipod nano thing at 313 with momma first. It was soooo freaking long when it was only just 9 plus in the morn and the queue was like stretching like a snake. Thankfully we're the 77th (estimated) and i had a book to read. That female security guard uh, aiyo bo tai ji zo, must come and complain.

Went to HMV while momma's waiting. And found One Direction's album!! Man, it's $27.90 :(

Forget bout it. Also browsed through some interesting books bout design. Hmmmmmm......

After that bro joined us for some quick lunch and then we kept shopping til dinner time! :)

Bought some stuff and rather a happy day today!

I was tired and grouchy by dinner time. Had Cantonese food at Chinatown and since we had a hundred dollar voucher, momma bro and i ordered till $106, om nom nom nom~~

Luckily the food was good, my mood was better hahaha.

Bro saw many of his friends. one of them included Daniel Lightfoot. He's really really talllllll and good-looking in person. That time at the stadium didnt see closely~ but anyways, why didnt i see any of my friends today? :O

So glad i finally got myself a grey jeans. plus 2 dresses and a pair of shoes~ Satisfied ^_^

And the salesperson at Charles & Keith said my feet nice and she likes hahahaha SHY but thanks! happy lor.

DAY 2

This day was a super super tiring day. After the sermon by Gideon chuan dao, we went for an Amazing Race! We went to stations like the airport, then expo, and tampines, and simei~ Rang literally like mad and the other group was always so near! some shop staff complained bout us, but i guess after everything, it was still fine. Some of the guys uh, seriously need to grow up -___- the girls are so much more mature than u.... Amazing Race left us exhausted and smell of perspiration.

Movie night after dinner. The movie, Soul Surfer, was inspiring and heart-warming! My favourite scene was when Bethany Hamilton went for missionary trip after the shark attack and taught the children there how to surf when they were so fearful of the waves. The kids opened up and started going into the sea! That scene gave me tears and it touched me :')

Had some heart-to-heart talks with the girls from my room :)

DAY 3

Last sermon of camp by Gideon chuan dao. And i sat at the back writing cards for him and Auntie chanyu who cooks meals for us. Her cooking is really best!! Though i think my mum's spaghetti is the best, her laksa and other food are yummy too!!!! :D

Our closing ceremony ended with revealing the Angel and our mortals, worship and sharing. I love my angel, sharon! She gave me a card and a notebook from Artbox! :) And my mortal knows i'm her angel ahhh not fun alrdy.

Dad fetched wenhui, huijun, sooyi and i back home! And i had a nap due to exhaustion......... Great nap :) Now i'll be uploading photos from camp to fb!! :)

Thank God for the camp! for the camp committee, the games, the smooth flow, the teachers, the speaker, the auntie who cook for us, the youths who joined our camp, the good weather and Your presence! :D We will dream for you, not for just ourselves. :)

DAY 1 (xile camp!)

felt the need to blog~

today was the 1st day of XILE CAMP. being the lead singer wasn't that bad. thou my voice did shake a little, but i was glad i was rather steady in leading the worship :) thank God! thank you Jiehui too.

the 2nd worship of the day was embarassing coz i teared after singing the theme song. IN FRONT OF ALL. random, yes, but sighs i wasn't embarassed la. more puzzled with myself. the song suddenly touched me and i teared. dontknow why suddenly so emotive. and i ended the worship with shaky stammering voice :/ must have scared them.

there was a lot of rest time so i camwhored with wenhui and linghui! it was fun!! hahaha glad that we bonded, and are a little closer. and i'm also happy that i've seen linghui's cheery and high side of her! :D yay! hahah our shots are epic. thumbs upppppppppppp. b^^

The water games in the rain was the NO-NO thing for me. not just because im having my thing. i like to be clean and asking me to be smashed by water bombs? i kinda fear it. coz i had a bad experience with water bomb games. well, 2 bad experiences, rather..

Led the discussion after the little sermon by Gideon chuan dao. It felt good, to me, to lead the group and thou i think i was freaking out, i've learnt alot thru the discussion. Fruitful!

I like the angel and mortal game~ :D it will be a success yeah. my angel i obviously know coz of her handwriting. and really delighted to see everyone so involved in caring and showing concern to their own mortals! i havent gave anything to my mortal. she'll get a surpriseee. ^^

there will be a lot more to share. hopefully i dont forget them! coming back on wed. and hope Amazing Race tmr turns out fine!!

Oh left church in the evening to head to airport to send yuni off. i think it's rather awkward. coz we're (as in me, daena peiting...) not that close with her. there's 10 over other people there (is there10+??) and everyone's in tiny groups. so it's like funny? doesnt seem sincere enough :(

when we bid good-bye at the departure gate, she cried rlly bad :/ i stayed quiet. dont know what to say. didnt really go hug her though i think i should and then we said byebye~

Had teh and tea and soft-boiled eggs at some makan place in T3 with class peeps. The guys kept talking bout soccer and working. I always had no comments and would always listen and just stay quiet..... ?Ahhh typical me. sometimes their lame jokes srsly make me laugh. And Daena, peiting and i were like ahh kay, back to soccer again is it? hahaha. well~~~

Now everything i hear from many sec 4s is "So what u doing in holidays? U WORKING?" i wish i had a recording saying "No i not working, rotting at home. no need money la, work for what. next yr next yr." (dont bother talking sometimes) I dont really dare to step out of my comfort zone YET to go work. Comfortable as a potato couch, computer addict and snackaholic. AND PROUD.

But sometimes feel like getting out and earn myself some experience though. not just for the money and all.

Well.. today's little gathering and makan time somehow, somewhat make me miss 4H :(

Thinking bout december, some things come into mind.

1st, Christmas!!!! The last time i really thought bout it was prolly 2 months ago, when i was like "3 months to christmas!!!" and that was BEFORE Os. Now it's nearly the end of nov and also long long time after Os, and now there's 1 month to christmas!! :D Aw happy thing~

Will be having my baptism. Can't wait! and then i'll be part of CBC by then :)

2nd, Going overseas!! YAYYYYYYYY will be going to australia and genting afterward. Excitement :) One post on tumblr says Topshop/Topshop is opening on 8th dec in Melbourne! hahaha though i know i wont be shopping there (coz too ex?), it still excites me! Hopefully cheaper and i pray i will be passing by there! :D

And Genting with Momma and Papa~ Again~ we went there just us 3, a few years ago. Love to go there with them. Go shopping with momma, leaving dad sitting at kfc chilling and drinking tea! HAHAHA then we would get outdoors and walk walk and take photo! The weather!!! Cooling and so looking forward! though not winter-cold, but at least AIRCON COLD :O yeah love the cooling weather up there~

3rd, Hanging out with friends! Going to cycle with sun sch peeps and chers, Kbox with alicia, more hanging out at Daena's house, shopping with Joyceeeeee.

Children camp is just over!!!!!! Thank God it had been a success and a really fun time! :D

I'm glad it ended off well! All the kids were like so happy and singing the theme song out loud.

Guoxin really pro to think of using Angry Birds to illustrate the camp's objectives which is about anger and stress management :) love love love everything there which has link to angry birds and the stupid pigs hahaha.

Though the preparation was tough for me.......(had to be logistics and decor person), but the process of the camp was really a joy! Love working and playing with the kids. It's really entertaining to see the kids with all sorts of characters and interacting with them too is funnnnnn :)

but when it comes to fights/crying/kids probs, it's troublesome :/ when one kid teared when he was being blamed for ruining the game, i spoke things which i dont even know if it's comforting to his ears. maybe it was nice words but not enough to comfort him.... :(

I guess it's better to leave the kid to the teacher.... I fail in this sort of stuff.

The night was ahhhhhhh. After having supper (from 85!!), i went to sleep. Got myself a space there, laid the mattress. The temperature was alright. But till 2 plus i woke up because it was freaking COLD!! and i thought it was alrdy 6! went back to sleep. Woke up a second time cause the air con wasn't working. It was warm -__-

Funny aircon. Thankfully though a little warm, it was still cooling and i slept till my alarm rang :)

And Zhiyi so alamak one, sleep closer and closer to me..... lololol

Marina Barrage. Peiting's bday celebration + Kite-flying + Picnic~

It was a rather gloomy day. But thank God the time we'd been there was windy and it didnt rain!

Great to see everyone there. Ahahaha and i started the kite! (kite master mingyou and proud) LOL

The food was great. So love the cheese chicken balls and cheese sausages and cheese tofu! The sandwiches was cute and yummy (tuna!!) and the rest just look as appetizing..

After that daena glenn peiting and i went to Bugis for ice-cream. Didnt find any so we ate YAMI YOGURT. shiokness :) the peach flavor is sooo refreshing. but EX when i added two toppings. Yay my raisins and kiwi :D om nom nomm

Also went to take neo-prints. The stupid machine automatically added eyeliner for us. Daena got no eyes hahaha! We look so horrible with artificial thick eyeliner -__-

Soon we went home~~~~~~~~~ it was a really great day! thank you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEITING ONCE AGAIN! ^_^

I went for cycling at Pulau Ubin Island with 4H :)

And class chalet @ changi + a short while of BBQ!

I'm happy and tired.

Cycled quite a bit for $4 rental. My bike on the way was mistakenly switched.

It turned out to be harder to pedal. But all was fine, all was fine.

There were so many dogs there :D And the ferry ride was SHIOK coz there was wind~~~

Just went to Daena's house with glenn and peiting!! :O

Painted my toe nails plus fingernails and they're super pretty~

Played a little with Gracie (Daena's doggie) and she's so cute omg

Watched funny, epic videos and chatted

soon evening cameeeee

Went to the hair salon, but the auntie wasn't there! Big big disappointment!

though i didnt quite show it, i can see daena and glenn are quite sad..

ate some snacks and went to psalm's hair salon instead with glenn and got my hair cut!

Finally i got my hair trimmed and my fringe cutttttt AWESOMEEEE

now i'm feeling like lazy plus tired

feel like dozing off on my bed now

still so early :(

i'm hesitating whether if i should go to the class outing tmr...........

no one to go with, thou i know that daena and peiting are going.

Two, i've been reading my manga still. Have yet finished!

Three, I've been on my lappy for hours. Nothing other than that.
